What Are the Benefits of Canadian Red Cedar?
Canadian Red Cedar is renowned around the world for being an incredibly durable, yet lightweight wood with a beautiful finish. Its natural oils also protect against insects and decay to ensure your Alpine Tub or Alpine Sauna lasts many years to come in your home or backyard.
What type of firewood can I use?
Any dry firewood is fine, however, a slight mixture of hard and soft wood is ideal!
How am I protected from the internal burner?
We have added Cedar cladding to the inside of the Alpine Tub which faces you. This Cedar will act as a safety barrier between yourself and the Alpine Tub burner, making you physically unable to touch the burner from within the water.
How do I drain my Alpine Tub?
Draining your Alpine Tub is super easy thanks to an in-built drain valve which sits just below your Cedar Cabinet. Simply turn the valve handle to open the valve and release the water. Repurposing this greywater is an excellent way to reduce your home’s water consumption and keep your garden thriving. Make sure you let the water cool down before repurposing for irrigation.
How long will it take the Burner to heat the water?
Our re-engineered Hot Tub burners are incredibly efficient, capable of heating the water by approximately 10°C per 30 minutes. This means if you’ve filled your Alpine Tub with fresh water from the hose, your water will be 40°C in approximately 1.5 hours.
